African HIP HOP Indaba 2012

Started in 2000, almost 12 years later Africa's biggest hip hop event is still going strong. Hosted by Emile Jansen from Black Noise and Heal the hood project, African Hip Hop Indaba has been a fundraiser for sending the SA B-Boy Crew & DJ to the World Champs.
This event showcases Hip Hop Battles.
Day 1 is the Emcee, DMC DJ, Beatbox and 1on1 B-Boy Battles.
These are solo battles with the winning DJ Representing South Africa at the DMC World Championship in the UK and winning B-Boy at Battle of the Year in France.
Cash and Prizes are also up for grabs!

Day 2 is the Dance Battles highlighting solo categories in Popping, Krump, Jnr B-Boy, B-girl and House. The crew category highlights the Battle of the Year, SA B-Boy Crew Qualifier and Nu Skool Battles.
The crew category is a showcase of a routine (6min B-Boy & 4min Nu Skool)
The top 4 crews are chosen for the Battle Round
The winners will receive cash and prizes
The best B-BOYS and 2 B-GIRLS will be selected to Represent South Africa at the Battle of the Year in France.
